Malope Vulcan

A beautiful, easy-to-grow hardy annual with large, silky flowers in rich shades of deep pink, crimson and magenta. Malope Vulcan produces elegant blooms on tall, branching stems, making it a wonderful addition to the cutting garden and a lovely choice for adding colour and movement to bouquets and arrangements.

Grown and harvested here at The Leicestershire Flower Farm, Malope is one of our favourite flowers for cutting, producing an abundance of long-lasting blooms throughout the summer.

Sowing Guide:
Sow indoors February–April, 1mm deep, in pots or modules. Do not cover the seed completely as light aids germination. Grow on in a bright, cool place and plant out after the risk of frost has passed. Alternatively, sow directly outdoors in May. Keep picking regularly to encourage more flowers.
