Get to know this Leicestershire florist
Hello reader, thanks for joining me!
I've been meaning to keep a journal of all the things I get up to in the crazy world of weddings since I started my business 7 years ago. It's just been one of those things that's never happened but with all the new ventures The Leicestershire Flower Farm is delving into I thought now was as good a time as any to bring you along for the ride.
What am I talking about? Well September last year I took over a rather neglected 1 acre flower farm, 5 minuets from my house. So now I not only arrange flowers for weddings and events but I'll also be growing them! A super exciting if not terrifying adventure!

Who is this Leicestershire florist?
The Leicestershire Flower Farm really came about unexpectedly. Most of my career I have been a visual merchandiser or worked in various management roles. Floristry just wasn't on the radar until a friend at the time (knowing I'm a keen gardener and I guess my creative background) asked if I would help her do her wedding flowers. From then it just snowballed and before I had even done one wedding I had 5 booked.
Confronted with the terrifying reality that I would have to actually flower these very important days I thought I better go and get some sort of formal training. So I booked myself onto a Tallulah Rose Flower School course to learn the basics.

From the first day at Tahulla Rose Flower School I knew this was what I wanted to do and The Leicestershire Flower Farm was born.
